Community Code of Conduct

Welcome to the EDA Academy Student Community — a place designed to connect learners, share knowledge, and support one another in the pursuit of excellence in chip design and engineering.

To maintain a respectful, safe, and productive environment for everyone, please follow these community rules.

1. Respect Above All

Treat every member with professionalism and courtesy. Disagreement is natural, but harassment, discrimination, or hostility of any kind will not be tolerated. Focus on ideas, not individuals.

2. Keep It Educational

This community exists to promote learning and knowledge exchange. Keep your discussions, questions, and posts relevant to education, engineering, or EDA-related topics. Off-topic, promotional, or irrelevant content may be removed.

3. Share Knowledge, Not Answers

It’s fine to help others with course concepts or assignments, but avoid simply posting full answers or copyrighted materials. The goal is to learn together, not bypass the learning process.

4. Be Constructive and Supportive

Offer feedback thoughtfully and kindly. Celebrate others’ progress and respect the diversity of perspectives, backgrounds, and learning styles. A supportive tone encourages collaboration and growth.

5. Protect Intellectual Property

Respect copyrights and licensing of EDA Academy content, instructor materials, and any third-party resources. Do not share paid course materials, private links, or internal documents publicly.

6. Maintain Academic Integrity

Honesty is essential. Plagiarism, cheating, or misrepresentation of work is strictly prohibited. Discussions should foster learning, not shortcut it.

7. No Spam or Self-Promotion

Promotional links, affiliate codes, or unrelated advertising are not allowed unless explicitly approved by the EDA Academy Team.

8. Safeguard Privacy

Do not post anyone’s private information (email, phone, address, etc.) without permission. Respect both your privacy and that of others.

9. Use Professional Language

Maintain a tone appropriate for an academic and professional setting. Avoid profanity, slurs, or inflammatory language. Clear and respectful communication builds credibility.

10. Report Issues Responsibly

If you encounter inappropriate content or behavior, report it using the community’s built-in tools or contact our support team directly. We review every report seriously.

11. Contribute Meaningfully

Before posting, ask yourself: Does this add value? Share thoughtful questions, useful resources, or experiences that can benefit others. Quality over quantity always wins.

12. Protect the Learning Environment

Avoid flooding threads with repetitive comments, off-topic memes, or disruptive posts. Keep the community focused and enjoyable.

13. Collaborate, Don’t Compete

EDA Academy’s community is about growth, not rivalry. Support your peers, share study techniques, and help others find success.

14. Keep Discussions Safe and Inclusive

Everyone should feel welcome — regardless of background, gender, culture, or experience level. Discrimination or exclusion is strictly against community values.

15. Respect Moderators and Guidelines

Community moderators maintain the quality and safety of discussions. Please respect their decisions; they’re here to help, not to restrict.

16. Stay Curious, Stay Kind

The best communities are built on curiosity and kindness. Keep learning, keep sharing, and remember that your participation makes EDA Academy a better place for everyone.

17. Consequences for Violations

EDA Academy reserves the right to remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts for rule violations. Repeated or severe breaches may lead to permanent removal from the community.

18. Updating These Rules

These guidelines evolve with the community. Updates may occur periodically to reflect best practices, new features, or legal requirements. Members will be notified of significant changes.

By participating in the EDA Academy Student Community, you agree to uphold these principles and contribute positively to a space where learning, respect, and innovation thrive.

Together, we make learning better.
